Application

Characteristics

  • Used as both a vulcanizing agent and accelerator for natural rubber(NR) and synthetic rubber (SR).
  • Suitable for efficient and semi-efficient vulcanization systems. During prolonged curing at elevated temperatures, it exhibits excellent resistance to reversion and significantly improves heat-aging resistance and compression set properties of vulcanizates.
  • Contains approximately 27% active sulfur. When used alone, the curing rate is slower than that of conventional sulfur systems; therefore, it is typically used in combination with sulfenamide, thiuram, thiazole, or dithiocarbamate accelerators toincrease curing speed.
  • Produces low blooming tendency and is suitable for light-colored and transparent rubber products.
  • Usage level: Used alone: 1.5-4.0 phr;Used with thiazole or thiuram accelerators:0.3-1.0 phr.
