Tread compounds for high-performance and racing tires; white sidewall compounds;steel cord skim and bead apex compounds;high-strength power transmission belts;high-performance vibration-damping components; wear-resistant linings; rubber rollers.
A co-crosslinking agent for peroxide curing systems and can also function as a heat-resistance additive and co-vulcanizing agent for a broad range of rubbers.
Provides excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, oils, corrosion, and high temperatures.
Forms ionic crosslinks in peroxide systems, increasing crosslink density and significantly enhancing mechanical properties, heat resistance, and dynamic fatigue performance.
Improves silica reinforcement efficiency and reduces compression set.
Due to steric hindrance from its methylside groups,ZDMA forms shorter and denser crosslinks, creating a more rigid crosslink network with higher crosslink density, superior heat resistance, and improved deformation resistance, though with slightly reduced elasticity.
Its more controlled reaction rate with peroxides helps prevent localized over-crosslinking, making it especially suitable for thick-walled products or high-temperature, long-duration curing systems, while reducing the risk of internal stress cracking.
Usage level: 1.0-4.0 phr.
